By Francis Riggs

Going up the tallest peak in the world present both challenges and opportunities. One group sees it as an opportunity while others see it as something they cannot do. The latter are the people who have given up since it the tallest and are not ready to challenge themselves. This articles discusses why the Mt Everest Climbing Expedition is an activity everyone must participate in.

Even though the explorers get to top peak, many who had started the journey in previous attempts did not reach to the topmost summit. Others are still having the idea. This article should convince them to do it.

The first reasons why you should climb the mountain is because it is seen and an act of immortality. The way an explorer can get into the books of history is by climbing the mountain. The reason why some people are motivated and encouraged to do something is because few people have done it. After doing it and beating, those who have done it their names are written in world Guinness book of record. Achieving such, status means that your name is put in history and record books.

It is a unique experience. Been able to reach at the top is something that one cannot experience in any other place since there is no other tall mountain like this one. Thus, one will be having once in lifetime experience if they get to the summit.

It is seen as more than a mountain. The mountain represents the challenges one can face in life. People face many challenges in life, and they find happiness if they get to summit and overcome their challenges. This is the same with the mountain. The journey to the peak is not easy. There are steep slopes, falls, and the cold weather. All these are the challenges one has to overcome on the way to topmost. Standing at the topmost means that one has overcome anything that life throws at them.

The other reason one should participate in this expeditions is to test their limits. Ascending pushes, even the most trained and experienced people to the end. Their mental and physical limits are tested through, exhaustion, sickness, and other elements beyond ones control. It takes more than skill and preparation, one has to endure and get lucky. Those who have been to the top can bear testimony to this.

The summit is the highest point above the sea level. This means the person at the peak is looking down at the earth where other people are. This in itself is an incredible feeling that most people do not get to experience. One feels lucky to be among the few who have been to top.

Ascending is a risky affair thus before setting out for the voyage, it turns important to learn about some safety measures. Some are obvious but others one must learn them. This is the only way to be safe out there. It turns better to be safe than sorry.
